Dantewada district is a district of Chhattisgarh, Dantewada district is also known by the name of South Bastar. This is the headquarters of Dantewada district. The district is part of Bastar Division.
दंतेवाड़ा जिला छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य का एक जिला है, दंतेवाड़ा जिला को दक्षिण बस्तर के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। दंतेवाड़ा इस जिला का मुख्यालय है। यह जिला, बस्तर डिवीजन का एक हिस्सा है।
Dantewada district is spread over an area of 10238.99 sq km. The north and northeast Bastar district, and is surrounded by Orissa's Malkangiri district, south and south-west Khammam district of Andhra Pradesh and in the west is surrounded by Indravati River, and Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district.
दंतेवाड़ा जिला 10,238.99 वर्ग किमी के क्षेत्रफल में फैला हुआ है। यह उत्तर और उत्तर - पूर्व पर बस्तर जिला, और उड़ीसा के मलकानगिरी जिला से घिरा हुआ है, दक्षिण और दक्षिण पश्चिम पर आंध्र प्रदेश के खम्मम जिले और पश्चिम में इंद्रावती नदी, और महाराष्ट्र के गढ़चिरौली जिला से घिरा हुआ है।
Bastar district was divided Bastar, Dantewada, and Kanker districts in 1999. From Dantewada, Bijapur district is divided in 2007.
बस्तर जिला को बस्तर, दंतेवाड़ा, और कांकेर जिलों में 1999 में विभाजित किया गया था। दंतेवाड़ा को वर्ष 2007 में बंटवारा करके बीजापुर जिले मे विभाजित किया गया।
Tirathgarh and Chitrakot is a very beautiful waterfall in Dantewada. Kanger Valley and Kutumsr, Kailash caves are known to tourists to its natural composition.
दंतेवाड़ा में सुंदर झरना तीरथ गढ़ और चित्रकोट झरना हैं। कांगेर घाटी और कुटुमसर, कैलाश गुफाओं भी पर्यटकों में अपनी प्राकृतिक संरचना के कारण जाना जाता है।
40 km from the District in Bhoplapattnm border at bhadrachal, Lord Rama temple is very famous. And here for tours mountain of Bailadeela, Barsur Gidam, Gmavda the poles etc.
जिले से 40 किमी की दूरी पर भोपलापट्टनम के सीमा से लगे भद्राचलम में भगवान राम का प्रसिद्ध मंदिर भी है। तथा यहाँ पर्यटन के लिए बैलाड़ीला का पर्वत, बारसुर गीदम, गमावडा के खंभे इत्यादि है।
