Governor Shekhar Dutt would honour teachers for valuable contribution to the society, on Wednesday, September 5, on the occasion of Teachers's Day, which is celebrated as a tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishanan, great educationist and philosopher, on his birth anniversary.
Dr. Radhakrishanan also served the country as the president.
While the governor would the Chief Guest for the programme, State School Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal would preside over it, said K R Pisda, Commissioner of Public Instructions, Government of Chhattisgarh, on Tuesday.
