Naya Raipur selected as Demo City for implementation of BRTS
Naya Raipur has been selected as demonstration City for the implementation of Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) under the Global Environment Facility (GEF) UNDP. The World Bank assisted Sustainable Urban Transport Project (SUTP) sponsored by Union Ministry of Urban Development. Naya Raipur Development Authority is in the process of implementing the project for providing Bus Rapid Transit (Lite) Service between Raipur-Naya Raipur for providing efficient connectivity by public transportation system. Accordingly, the tendering process for the same has begun.
