Sirpur to get status of heritage site
One of the richest archaeological sites of the country is set to get the status of world heritage site. The State Government as well as Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) is taking keen interest to get this elegant archaeological wealth listed by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in the world heritage site.
Although 6-7 years back ASI had attempted to revive the glory of this exceptional site by getting it included in world heritage site but that did not yield the desired result.
