Jawans in Bijapur district get hoax call of Naxal ambush
It was sheer luck that a squad of security forces on Wednesday afternoon survived a deadly Naxal ambush in restive Bijapur district, when they reached to defuse a cache of nearly 20 'tiffin bombs' supposedly planted by the rebels on a forested interior road.
The tip-off, however, turned out to be a mere 'hoax' because the tiffin boxes were filled with sand and nuggets.
The spot is situated 8 kilometers away from Bijapur district head quarters and some 490 kilometers from the State Capital Raipur.
