The team of Anti Corruption Bureau conducted a raid at the photocopy and computers shop of Executive Engineer Alok Agrawal on Ware House Road. The documents of transactions and hard disc of computer have been seized. The shop was being run in the name of EE's wife.
It is worth noting here that a joint team of ACB and EOW had conducted a raid in the residence of Executive Engineer of Water Resource Department, Alok Agrawal, situated at Nehru Nagar. Moreover, the raids were also conducted at the residences of EE's close sub engineer, contractor brother Pawan Agrawal and the servants. The seizures included Rs 07 crore in cash and jewelleries worth of gold and silver.
The team is looking into the documents seized from his residence, paternal residence and office. In the probe it came to light that a photocopy and computers shop was being run on Warehouse Road in the name of his wife and from the shop she gets an annual income of Rs 06 lakh of which she files returns as well.
