The State Government has started making preparations for the Global Investors’ Meet to be held in capital city. Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today held a meeting of the Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation (CSIDC) at Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhawan).
Dr Raman Singh said ‘Make in Chhattisgar' slogan and investors’ meet will be on the pattern of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Make In India'. The meet will encourage the industrialists to come and invest in Chhattisgarh. The State will go all out to woo the entrepreneurs by giving them all facilities. The State representative will meet investors in cities and give them a detailed account of concessions available here. This will be more effective. The Global Investors’ Meet will not be on a large-scale in Raipur.
Dr Raman Singh said just like the First Global Investors’ Meet held during 2012 ‘Rajyotsav’ the Second Global Investors’ Meet will also concentrate on non-core sector, environment-friendly and job-intensive. The main focus will be on solar energy, Information Technology, automobile and other sectors. The Chief Minister directed the concerned officers to prepare a road-map in the next four months. On the Information Technology sector, meetings should be held in Bangalore and Hyderabad and convince the investors. Meetings should be held in various big cities and officers should prepare a blueprint.
The Chief Minister's Advisor Shivraj Singh, Chief Secretary Vivek Dhand, Additional Chief Secretary DS Mishra, Energy and Information Technology Department and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Aman Kumar Singh, Public Works, Public Relations and Gramodyog Department Principal Secretary Amitabh Jain, Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Additional Secretary Rajat Kumar, Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Managing Director Sunil Mishra and other senior officers were present. The officers said that the services of Advisory firm 'Earnest Young' will be taken for the Second Global Investors' Meet. The firm played a vital role in holding the Global Investors' Meet in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
