Residents of forest colony ward are suffering from acute water scarcity since last four days as the water being supplied by municipal taps is highly impure. Small insects could be found in water which even does not gets destroy after boiling water at high flame. Alternative arrangements of tankers have been done but it is also not sufficient to meet water requirement of hundreds of people residing in colony. The dwellers have requested CMO Mithilesh Awasthi to look into the issue and resolve problem as earliest.
According to reports, the locals in this regard stated that the water pipeline got damaged around four days ago and even after complaints the authorities did not pay any attention. Insects are present in water and it is really unsafe to drink this contaminated water.
CMO when asked about same then he stated that the efforts are being put in to solve problem and even assured that within few days the water supply will be normal as before. He later cited that the tankers are being sent to colonies in order to meet water requirements of locals.
The release ahead mentioned that the elections are round corner and even a small mistake by public representative can go against him/ her. The residents at end cited that if soon some step won’t be taken then the candidates will have to suffer in upcoming election for this negligence.
