Three girls go missing from city

Incidents of sudden missing of minor girls from the city have become a regular feature of late. Only recently three minor girls from Telibandha and Rajendra Nagar were traced in Allahabad and now another three had gone missing. While two of them have reportedly gone missing together from Civil Lines police station area, the third one has gone missing from Pandri police area.

According to police, two close friends aged 15 and 17 years and residents of Sector-1 in Shankar Nagar and New Shanti Nagar respectively have gone missing since Tuesday night.

Student of class 10th and class 11th respectively, both the girls are reportedly very close friends as they residence is hardly 100 meters apart. While the class 10th student takes tuition at her residence, the class 11th student goes to Pandri for tuitions.

On Tuesday after the class 10th student finished off with her tuitions, she told her parents of going to a friend's house and left the house on her Activa CG04-DU-7839 at about 6:30 p.m.

On the other hand, the class 11th student too did not return back from her tuitions which get over at about the same time.

As such it is being now anticipated that they both had gone somewhere together. This apprehension got weight after it was revealed that both the missing girl were spotted in Raipur railway station at about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday and again were spotted moving on the Activa in Naya Raipur area at about noon time on Wednesday.

Since neither of them is carrying along with a mobile phone, it has become next to impossible to make contact with them or trace their locations.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that neither of them had taken any cash or valuables from their respective house but might have in possession some money given to them regularly as pocket money. It has also come to light that both the girls were having a mobile phone each till some time back but respective family members had taken it from them at the same time. Another startling thing that has come to light is that both the girls had had long chat each with someone who called them one after another on the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday and now that phone has gone off and is untraceable.

Working on all these revelations, Civil Lines police is now trying to trace them out after registering separate missing person complaints on Wednesday afternoon.

In another incident reported in Pandri police station late on Tuesday night, a 14 year old girl of Chandi Nagar has gone missing since Sunday morning after she went out of her saying to go to Khamardih where she works a housemaid at some unidentified person's house.

According to police, the girl left her house at about 9:00 a.m. on Sunday saying to be going to her work and since then there has been no trace of her. Daughter of a daily wage labour, the girl reportedly worked as housemaid somewhere in Khamardih. However her parents do not know at whose house she used to work. This has made the task all the more difficult for the police who has now registered a missing person complaint and is now trying to locate her.
